Who we are and what this policy covers
Muse Ecommerce LLC, a California limited liability company trading as Post-Glp ("we," "us," or "our"), operates usepostglp.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you browse our store, make a purchase, contact us, or otherwise interact with us. Shopify provides our ecommerce platform.
For activities described in this policy, Muse Ecommerce LLC is the business responsible for your information and, where applicable, its data controller. Shopify and other providers may act independently for their own services, as explained below. This policy is a notice of our practices; reading it or using the site is not consent to processing that requires a separate choice.
Personal information we collect and why
The information we process depends on how you use our store. We collect it directly from you, through your use of the website, and from providers that support payments, fulfillment, website operations, communications, or other features you use.
- Contact and delivery information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, and billing and shipping addresses. We use it to process and deliver orders, communicate with you, and handle support and returns.
- Order and transaction information, such as products viewed or purchased, quantities, order history, returns, payment status, and transaction identifiers. We use it to administer purchases, provide support, prevent fraud, and maintain business records. Payment providers process the payment details you enter; the details available to us depend on the payment method and provider.
- Account information, if you create an account, including login identifiers, account settings, and preferences. We use it to provide and secure your account.
- Device and website activity information, such as IP address, browser and device information, cookie identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, and interactions with the store. We use it to operate and secure the website and, where enabled and legally permitted, measure usage and support advertising.
- Communications and content you submit, such as support messages, product reviews, feedback, and any attachments. We use it to respond, address product concerns, and provide the features through which you submit it. Content you choose to publish in a review may be visible to others.
- Preferences and consent records, such as email preferences and cookie or privacy choices. We use them to respect your choices and document compliance.
We also use information where necessary to comply with tax, accounting, product-safety, and other legal obligations; respond to lawful requests; resolve disputes; and protect the rights and safety of our customers, business, and others.
Information about your health
You may choose to tell us about a health concern, medication, or product reaction when contacting support. Please send only what is needed for your request and do not send medical records, full payment-card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information. Where we receive health-related information, we use it to address your request, investigate product concerns, or meet applicable safety and reporting obligations, subject to the safeguards and legal basis required by law.
[HEALTH DATA NOTICE: If consumer health data laws apply to the store’s actual collection or inferences, insert the link to the completed Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy here. Otherwise remove this paragraph.]
Who receives personal information
- Shopify and service providers supporting hosting, checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, technology, customer support, email delivery, storage, and other store operations receive information needed for their services.
- Fulfillment providers and delivery carriers receive order, contact, and delivery information needed to prepare and deliver purchases and handle returns.
- Analytics or advertising partners, where those tools are enabled, may receive device identifiers, website interactions, and related information subject to applicable law and your choices. The sales and sharing disclosure below explains the store’s actual practices.
- Other recipients may receive information at your direction, with legally required consent, or where necessary to comply with law, address fraud or security concerns, protect legal rights, or complete a corporate transaction with appropriate protections.
[ADDITIONAL RECIPIENTS: Identify any affiliates and other recipient categories actually used and the purposes of disclosure. If accurate, state ‘We do not disclose personal information to affiliates.’ Remove this instruction after completing the disclosure.]
Shopify
Information you provide through our store is processed by Shopify to support checkout, hosting, security, and related services. When you use Shopify’s own consumer services, such as Shop or Shop Pay, Shopify may also process information for its own purposes under its own privacy notice. Review Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers and its privacy portal at https://privacy.shopify.com/.
[SHOPIFY SETTINGS: State whether Shopify Network Intelligence or other enhanced services that use data across merchants are enabled, and describe the applicable sharing and independent processing. Remove this instruction after inserting the accurate disclosure.]
Cookies and advertising
Our store uses cookies and similar technologies to support functions such as checkout, security, and preferences. Optional analytics and advertising technologies, if enabled, can collect information about activity over time and across websites. Our Cookie Policy describes the categories used and the providers and duration of those technologies.
You can manage optional technologies and relevant advertising choices through [COOKIE AND PRIVACY SETTINGS URL]. Where prior consent is required, optional technologies are used only after that consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
[SALE AND SHARING DISCLOSURE: Insert the accurate no-sale/no-sharing statement or the actual categories sold/shared, recipient categories, purposes, and applicable reporting period. Use the alternatives in the setup guide; do not leave this instruction in the published policy.]
Where required by applicable law, we treat recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as requests to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising covered by that law. The effect may be limited to the browser or device unless we can associate the signal with your account. Our privacy controls show the applicable opt-out status. Our store does not respond to legacy browser ‘Do Not Track’ signals. We handle legally required opt-out preference signals separately, as described above.
Email preferences
If we send promotional emails, you can unsubscribe through the link in the message or by emailing info@usepostglp.com. We obtain consent where required. Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages needed for your purchases, refunds, security, or legal notices. We do not operate a marketing text-message program.
How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, product-safety, fraud prevention, and dispute obligations. We consider the type and sensitivity of the data, the purpose of processing, applicable retention duties, and whether it is needed for an active matter.
- Order, payment, and delivery records: for order administration and the applicable tax, accounting, product-safety, and legal-record periods.
- Account records: while needed to provide the account and for any required period after closure.
- Support communications: for resolving and documenting the issue and any relevant safety, dispute, or recordkeeping period.
- Device and website activity data: for the period needed for security, site operation, or the enabled measurement purpose; cookie durations are listed in our Cookie Policy.
- Consent and privacy-choice records: for the period needed to respect the choice and demonstrate compliance.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it, subject to lawful retention and backup procedures.
Security and third-party websites
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No system or transmission method is completely secure. Use care when submitting sensitive information. Links to external websites are governed by those operators’ practices; review their notices before providing information.
Children
Our store is intended for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact info@usepostglp.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to our business, you may have rights to know about and access your information; obtain a portable copy; correct inaccuracies; request deletion; withdraw consent; restrict or object to certain processing; or opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. Some laws also provide a right to limit particular uses of sensitive personal information. These rights are subject to applicable exceptions and legal requirements.
Email info@usepostglp.com to make a request. Describe the right you wish to exercise and provide enough information to locate the relevant records. We may verify your identity where appropriate and required, using information proportionate to the request. We do not require identity verification for requests where the law prohibits it, including applicable sale/sharing opt-outs. You may use an authorized agent where permitted; we may request proof of authority and any verification allowed by law.
We respond within the period required by the law that applies to your request and explain any lawful extension or refusal. You may appeal a decision where applicable by emailing us with ‘Privacy Appeal’ in the subject line. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also complain to the appropriate privacy regulator.
California and other U.S. state disclosures
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act or another state privacy law applies to our business, the information categories above include identifiers, customer-record information, commercial information, internet or network activity, and any sensitive information or inferences actually processed. Our sources, purposes, recipient categories, retention criteria, and sale/sharing practices are described above. Information supplied for account access, payment, or a product-safety report may receive additional legal protection.
[CALIFORNIA DISCLOSURE PERIOD: Confirm the categories actually collected, disclosed for a business purpose, sold, or shared during the preceding 12 months, or since launch if shorter; identify any additional categories, including health data and health inferences. State whether sensitive information is used or disclosed beyond purposes that do not trigger a right to limit, and provide the limit method if required.]
California residents may also contact info@usepostglp.com about disclosures for third parties’ direct marketing under California’s Shine the Light law, where applicable. For practical request instructions and opt-out choices, see our Your Privacy Choices page.
EEA and United Kingdom
Where EU or UK data protection law applies, we rely on the following legal bases as appropriate: performing a contract or taking requested steps before a purchase for checkout, fulfillment, and related support; legal obligations for required tax, accounting, and safety records; legitimate interests for proportionate security, fraud prevention, business administration, and service improvement where those interests are not overridden by your rights; and consent for processing that requires it, such as certain marketing and optional tracking.
Where we process special-category health information, we also identify an applicable condition under that law, such as explicit consent or a relevant legal condition for required reporting or legal claims. We do not rely on an ordinary commercial interest alone to process such information.
[HEALTH DATA LEGAL CONDITION: If EU or UK special-category data is processed, identify the actual Article 9 condition for each purpose and the consent or other safeguard used. If no such data is processed, replace this instruction and the preceding paragraph with an accurate statement of that practice.]
Order and delivery information is needed to complete a purchase; without it we may be unable to fulfill your order. Optional marketing choices are not a condition of buying. Where applicable, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests and object at any time to processing for direct marketing. You may complain to your local supervisory authority or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
[AUTOMATED DECISIONS: Confirm whether the store makes solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. If none, state that; otherwise explain the decision, meaningful information about its logic, likely consequences, and applicable review rights.]
[EEA OR UK REPRESENTATIVE: Insert appointed representative contact details if legally required, or remove this paragraph if no appointment is required.]
International processing
We operate from the United States. Our providers may process information in other countries, which may have different data protection laws. When a transfer requires a legal safeguard, we use the applicable safeguard and provide information about it on request.
[TRANSFER SAFEGUARDS: Identify the countries or destinations and actual safeguards used for relevant transfers, such as applicable adequacy decisions or executed standard contractual clauses and UK transfer terms. Do not claim certification or contracts that have not been verified.]
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version with an updated date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required. Contact us with questions, corrections, complaints, or privacy requests at info@usepostglp.com.
